KIND樂

We are a group of Singapore Management University students who strongly want to play a part in building a gracious Singapore. In line with Singapore Kindness Movement's mission, we seek to impart values of consideration, courtesy and kindness to the community. school.

In collaboration with the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM), we have embarked on a campaign – Project Kind Kids, to inspire kindness in the hearts of the young. This includes an educational kit, comprising of a video accompanied by a curriculum, both of which were personally and professionally prepared by the team. The video depicts daily basic acts of kindness in 4 situations: Kindness@Home, Kindness@School, Kindness@Play and Kindness@Public. By portraying highly relatable situations, it would raise awareness about courtesy among children. Further, teachers can retrieve the learning resources curriculum to utilize in their lessons.

Our team specifically wishes to target the youngest generation as they hold the opinion that such habits are best learnt during a child’s formative years. Given their impressionability, children of a tender age will benefit significantly from the project by inculcating positive value; these of which are indispensible to the development of children into gracious Singaporeans. It is also our team’s hope that their example would serve to reiterate the importance of the continuity of such student initiatives, as well as to encourage more students to challenge themselves by submitting creative and enriching projects for the betterment of the community.

With a strong desire to play their part in building a gracious Singapore, our team sincerely hopes that their project would be warmly and widely received by larger audience.
